Directions

Required Documentation 

All U.S. citizens are required to present a passport or other valid travel document to enter or re-enter the United States. U.S. citizens traveling by car or must have a government-issued photo identification (such as a valid driver’s license or State ID card) and a document showing their U.S. citizenship (for example, a birth certificate or certificate of nationalization), or other compliant document such as a passport or passport card for entry or re-entry to the U.S.
 
Transportation Information

If you need transportation from the US/Mexico bridge, special busses will be operating on Friday, October 29 from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Saturday, October 30 from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 

Please go to the Puente Nuevo, south of the Jacob Brown Auditorium. You will walk and pay 65cents at the bridge toll. Once you cross the bridge, there will be ushers with signs saying: “Binational Conference”. These ushers will guide you towards the BUS that will take you to el Teatro Reforma for the Opening Ceremonies on Friday and to Universidad Tecnologica de Matamoros on Saturday.

Students are not encouraged by UTB/TSC to go to Matamoros for safety reasons. Therefore, for the convenience of students from UTB/TSC, as well as teachers and administrators from BISD, the inauguration event and the sessions planned for Saturday October 30 will be transmitted live in EDBC building room 1.224 of UTB/TSC.
